Researching and mapping 52 walks in Southeast England - all aimed at finding a good pub along the way.
These are all walks worth crossing the country for, and doing again and again. They include routes in the Chilterns, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Greater London. There are walks around Dover, Chichester Harbour, the Essex marshes, Constable Country, the Ashdown Forest, the South Downs, the Chilterns, the Surrey heaths, Windsor Great Park and rural enclaves within the London suburbs. Some walks previously appeared in the Good Walks Guide, which I wrote and researched.
Alas out of print, but most of the routes should still be fine and it's easy enough to find on the internet.
